About the school

Derbyshire Japanese Supplementary School is a supplementary school in the UK, established in June 1991 as Derby Japanese Supplementary School. The school's name changed in 2019 when it relocated. Located in central England, Derbyshire is a scenic region home to The Peak National Park, known for its lush greenery, abundant sheep, and clean water. Surrounded by this beautiful natural environment, the children grow up freely and happily. The smiles of the children who gather on Saturdays are the school's most precious asset.
